AYA Action Youth America

About the A.L.L. Program

A collaboration between the Hawthorne School District and Action Youth America (A.Y.A.), the A.L.L. Program is designed to help students increase their academic achievement, provide a safe and supportive place after school, as well as have fun with friends and caring adults while developing social relationships and engaging in enriching activities.

The Academic Lifelong Learning (A.L.L.) Program is committed to serving students every day, for a minimum of three hours. The A.L.L. Program is offered in-person and begins immediately after school, at the following times:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 3:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: Begins at 2:00 p.m.

The program provides three core components to each student daily

  • Homework assistance
  • Disguised learning
  • Engaging & enriching activities with an opportunity to learn something new
  • Activities: Chess, karate, robotics, STEAM, sports, and dance

A nutritious snack is provided daily to each student.

The A.L.L. Program is a safe and supportive environment for all children to learn, have fun, and feel good about themselves. AYA is committed to helping students achieve academic success, increase their self-confidence and discover their individual potential.
