What is Footsteps2Brilliance (F2B)?

Footsteps2Brilliance® is a revolutionary Early Learning Mobile Technology Platform that accelerates student achievement by uniting the power of mobile game technology with the latest in cognitive research. Because the platform can be used with any Apple or Android tablet or phone, as well as traditional computers, it provides schools and districts with unprecedented ability to connect school, home, and community.

Who is Eligible?

All residents in the City of Hawthorne, regardless of their enrollment status with Hawthorne School District, will be able to download the curriculum app for free on their smartphones and tablets, or use the program on their traditional computers. This will ensure that every student in grades pre-K through 2 in Hawthorne will have access to hundreds of books, songs, and learning activities regardless of their socio-economic status. Additionally, the F2B library consists of beautifully written and illustrated e-books complete with an English/Spanish toggle switch on every page to reach even the most struggling readers. It is the goal of Hawthorne School District and F2B to better prepare students for the increased rigor of Kindergarten and beyond.
