New Student Enrollment Steps

If you already have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account and want to fill out the enrollment packet, follow these steps to access the appropriate forms.

1.

Once logged into the PowerSchool Parent Portal, Select “Forms” from the menu on the left of screen.

2.

Select the enrollment tab (see B). You will then see all required forms.

3.

All required enrollment forms must be completed. Once you enter all required information you will need to click on “Submit” (see A).

If you need to fill out your form and pause until another time, you may click on “Save” and return another time to continue filling out your form (see B).

Creating a new Powerschool account

Registration Steps

1.

Go to PowerSchool then click on the "Create Account" tab.

2.

Click the blue “Create Account" button.

3.

Fill out required Parent Account information.

4.

Link your student’s account (Access ID and Access Password provided by school). Add additional student(s) if applicable.

5.

Success: You now have access to your student's PowerSchool. If you are using PowerSchool to enroll your student, see the next steps under "Next Steps: Complete the enrollment packet."

6.

Use the PowerSchool Mobile App

1. Download the App

Go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
Search for PowerSchool Mobile and install it.

2. Open the App

When prompted, enter the District Code: JQML.
This code connects the app to your school district (Hawthorne School District).

3. Sign In

Use your PowerSchool username and password.

Enrollment forms can receive any file type in these document upload fields. However, only one file can be uploaded per document field. If you are having trouble uploading documents, there are a few steps you can take before contacting your school.

Resolution Options

Clear the browsing data from your web browser. You can find the instructions on how to clear your browser below:

Mozilla Firefox
Internet Explorer
Safari
Switch to a different web browser. PowerSchool Enrollment works best with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, but you can try all the browsers at your disposal!
Attempt to upload the document from a different device. If you are using a smartphone, try switching to a tablet or desktop computer.
Consolidate files. If you need to upload more than one file, but only one document upload field is available, try transferring the information into one data file (for example, one PDF), then upload.
