Pet Extravaganza 2013
The Second Annual Family and Pet Extravaganza
On Saturday, October 12th Kornblum Elementary School was filled with families, community, games, pets and fun! The Second Annual Family and Pet Extravaganza was a tremendous success with all of the proceeds benefiting the Hawthorne Education Foundation and each local school participating in the event.
The day included shows by our own School Board Member and America Now “Pet Pro”, Luciano Aguilar, an American Diving Dogs competition, and various dog demonstrations by Falco K-9 Academy and other experienced trainers. Schools provided fun for all with carnival games, face painting, and delicious foods. Entertainment was provided by Jackie Flores, Sarah Quintana, and El Grupo Emirato. Lightning Cloud and DJ Hydroe, are former Hawthorne School District students provided the music for the entire day.
We look forward to continuing the fun with our Third Annual Family and Pet Extravaganza scheduled for September 27, 2014! We hope to see you there!
