Pet Extravaganza 2014

On Saturday, September 27th, Kornblum Elementary School was filled with families, community members, games, pets and fun! The Third Annual Family and Pet Extravaganza was a tremendous success with all of the proceeds benefiting the Hawthorne Education Foundation and each local school participating in the event.

The day included shows by our own School Board Member and America Now “Pet Pro”, Luciano Aguilar, an American Diving Dogs competition, and various dog demonstrations. Ramona School's Dancers and Prairie Vista Middle School's performing arts students did a great job entertaining the crowd! Schools also provided fun for all with carnival games, face painting, and delicious foods. Former Hawthorne School District student DJ Lightning Cloud kept the momentum going with a great mix of music throughout the day.
